DCAF-ICRC Toolkit: Launch of the Mandarin Translation

Mandarin version of the DCAF-ICRC Toolkit Addressing Security and Human Rights Challenges in Complex Environments is now available on the Security and Human Rights Knowledge Hub. DCAF and the ICRC, together with the Embassy of Switzerland in China and the UN Global Compact Network China, will officially launch the Mandarin translation of the Toolkit tomorrow within the framework of the Swiss Innovation Week at the Swiss Embassy in Beijing.

The Mandarin version of the Toolkit provides Chinese enterprises with support in managing the security of their operations in an effective and sustainable way. By translating the Toolkit into Mandarin, the DCAF-ICRC team aims to assist Chinese enterprises “going global” with mitigating risks and creating safer environments when operating in complex environments. Providing a large set of good practices, the Toolkit strengthens responsible security management that protects the livelihood and dignity of those affected by business operations.
