Description

The Institute of Democracy and Human Rights (IDEHPUCP) is a research institute at the Catholic University of Peru that aims to strengthen democracy and respect for human rights in Peru create public spaces for dialogue and debate. One of their particular aims is to strengthen private companies ‚respect of human rights. To this end, the Institute developed indicators that can help assess the companies human rights compliance, with a particular focus on the extractives. The Institution is further a member of the International Code of Conduct Association.
