Case Studies on Business, Security and Human Rights

The DCAF-ICRC partnership has developed a series of case studies, in collaboration with several other organisations, to support the needs of companies operating in complex environments.

These case studies bring together good practices and lessons learned from a wide range of security related incidents in different contexts around the world.

Case studies on multi-stakeholder engagement with communities:

• Impact of the South Kivu VPs Working Group in the DRC
• Partnership with Public Institutions, Experts and Civil Society: A Case Study from Public Security Training in Kenya
• Multi-stakeholder In-country Working Groups 
• Colombia Mining and Energy Committee 

Case studies addressing risks specific to public security: forces, such as Engagement with Public Security Forces in Iraq and Monusco and Tenke Fungurume Training for Public Security Forces.
