Human Rights First is a non-profit human rights organisation which emphasises the responsibility of the U.S. government and private companies to respect human rights and the rule of law in their operations. Human Rights First has helped to develop multi-stakeholder initiatives, which bring together human rights organisations, governments and corporations to ensure a stronger compliance with human rights.
