South Africa - Centre for Human Rights

The Centre for Human Rights is both an academic department and a non-governmental organisation based at the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria. The Centre’s includes a Business and Human Rights Unit that conducts “research on international business and human rights standards and instruments, build[s] capacity among governments, the corporate sector, academia, civil society and communities, investigate[s] the human rights and environmental impacts of business in Africa, and engage[s] with judicial, quasi-judicial and non-judicial redress mechanisms.”
