The Working Group prepared background briefs for an interactive roundtable on five gender issues, one of them being gender-sensitive human rights due diligence. This brief contains three sections: challenges, potential solutions, and good practices. It serves as a useful primer for corporate readers to understand human rights obligations through a gender lens. The good practices section in particular refers to a list of useful tools and guidelines, such as the Workplace Health Facility Guidelines and Management Benchmarks and the Private Sector Action for Women’s Health and Empowerment.
