Report of the National Baseline Assessment: Promoting Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights in Nigeria (LITE-Africa, Nigerian Working Group and SHRIM)

Description

The Nigeria baseline study was developed by LITE-Africa and members of the Nigerian Working Group with the support of the Security and Human Rights Implementation Mechanism (SHRIM), a DCAF multi-donor trust fund. This study provides the first comprehensive, empirically grounded analysis of VPs implementation in Nigeria. The findings contained in the study provide important insights for the Nigeria in-country working groups (ICWGs) and other national stakeholders. Additionally, it also offers strong arguments and clear direction for additional, targeted resource support to in-country implementation activities in Nigeria.
