Webinar to Address Colombia’s Achievements and Challenges on Business, Security, and Human Rights

On 24 March 2021, international and Colombian experts will contribute to a webinar exploring the evolution of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPs) and lessons learned from their application in Colombia to date. The webinar is being organised by the Colombian Mining Energy Committee on Security and Human Rights (CME), with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Bogotá.

Colombian panellists will include the Presidential Adviser on Human Rights and International Affairs and corporate and civil society leaders in the energy and mining sectors. Claude Voillat from the ICRC will be among the international experts.

This webinar is aimed at companies operating in challenging security environments, governments, civil society organisations and other actors who are interested in responsible business conduct.
